Can I demo SororityWeb before deciding to subscribe?

Absolutely. We encourage you to try SororityWeb for yourself for free to see if it meets all of your chapters communication needs. We have SororityWeb representatives who would love to walk you through the demo site so you are totally comfortable with how to use it. Do I need to install any software on my computer to run SororityWeb?

No. SororityWeb is 100% browser-based, meaning it is completely operated within your existing Internet browser. You can log into SororityWeb from any computer with an Internet connection.

Can I speak to other chapters using SororityWeb before subscribing?

Yes. We encourage you to speak with a few of the chapters who have been using SororityWeb and have agreed to assist other chapters who are seeking options. Please contact us at websupport@mitcs.com for a SororityWeb reference list.

Signing Up and Getting Started

How do I order SororityWeb?

To get started using SororityWeb simply complete our sign up form. One of our representatives will contact you shortly thereafter with instructions for payment and getting started.

What does SororityWeb cost?

SororityWeb requires a one-time license fee of $1,000 and an annual hosting, maintenance and support fee of $800. The one-time licensing fee allows our team to create your site including all of the dynamic member and administrator tools, issue a login account to your Web site administrator and schedule an initial phone training session with your Web site administrator to go through each and every module with one of our technicians to ensure you get started on the right foot. The initial phone training typically lasts anywhere from 1-2 hours depending on your Web site administrator's knowledge of computers and basic Internet usage. The annual subscription fee covers web site hosting, unlimited updates/upgrades to the SororityWeb software, and personal over-the-phone support for help regarding the SororityWeb software.

How long does it take to get my SororityWeb site set up after joining?

After joining SororityWeb we can have your site up and running and ready for your content entry in a just a few hours. We will issue your designated web administrator a login name and password so that they may begin entering member accounts and chapter information. We will also schedule an over-the-phone training session with your web administrator to make sure you get started on the right foot.

Do I have to sign a contract for SororityWeb?

When you sign up for SororityWeb services we do require that you agree to our Subscriber Agreement. We do not typically require that you sign anything unless your chapter specifically requests a signed contract.

I have a web site for my chapter, what can SororityWeb provide in addition to my established Web site?

We can walk you through the process of linking your existing site to the member login area of SororityWeb to create a seamless integration of both systems.

Is SororityWeb secure?

SororityWeb software is protected by SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. Encryption allows you to protect sensitive traffic to and from the SororityWeb site. SSL is the industry standard encryption technology. SororityWeb provides the strongest SSL implementation available (128-bit encryption). This method of encryption is used on all sites on the World Wide Web requiring the input of credit card numbers and other sensitive information.

How often does SororityWeb software change? Am I entitled to updates as a member?

As a subscriber to SororityWeb you are entitled to receive unlimited updates and revisions of the software as they become available. Our development team is continually upgrading the site to include the best features and industry standards. Through MITC’s ProSupport® remote support program, feedback from Web administrators is proactively compiled and closely reviewed for prompt inclusion in the SororityWeb feature set. As new technologies and features are introduced you will receive communications from us notifying you of the latest additions and features. We also welcome your suggestions so please feel free to let us know what features/additions you think would make SororityWeb a better product!

As a Website administrator can I send email to all members notifying them of important news and events?

Yes. Website administrators have the ability to send bulk email to all chapter members notifying them of important events, deadlines, notification of new newsletters posted online and whatever else is important to your chapter. The SororityWeb email module allows administrators to send email messages to all members or select members of your chapter such as committees and Ticktocker classes.
